YuYing Huang is a performance and installation artist based in London and Shanghai. She holds an MA in Fine Art from Chelsea College of Arts and a BA in Public Art from China Academy of Art. Her work explores the notion of "image” and the cultural construction behind it, seeking to understand daily life under the influence of the internet, often through the disarming effects of humour, and drawing from the theories of visual imagery and technology. Her pieces also addressing social issues through context-based artworks.
