Artist Bio
Yijue Zeng (b. 1992, China) is a London-Guangzhou-based artist working with video installation, sculpture, and photographic images. Her practice is deeply influenced by her surroundings, focusing on the relationship between place and people. Yijue’s work explores themes of memory, human spatial experience, and displacement within the context of globalization. She employs a multidisciplinary approach, incorporating etching, video, photography, and alternative photographic experiments, often working with film cameras and paper.
Yijue has exhibited internationally, including shows at the Slade School of Fine Art Interim/Degree Show, London’s Filet Gallery, and the Hong Kong Central Library. In May, she will participate in an art residency in Iceland.
