Soohyun Kim (born 1993, South Korea) is a visual artist based in London. Her artistic practice is multidisciplinary, combining image, sound, 3D video, and sculpture. Her practice explores states of being that are difficult to categorize, such as incomplete existence, ghost-like states, and in-betweenness. Using casting techniques, her recent work examines how systematic categorisation within society oppresses individuals.
