Artist Bio
Iris Su‘s practice is based on the materiality and metaphoricity of trash to search for alternative values in human systems. She experiments with unconventional materials through drawing, photography, moving images, sound, interactive installations, etc.. Su sees her somewhat chaotic aesthetic assemblages as a tool to interrogate the interconnectedness between individuals and systems nowadays. She amplifies the feeling of being “in-between”, in which the layers - formed by the different mediums - create a sense of obscurity. Iris Su is currently studying at Slade School of Fine Art for MFA Programme (media pathway).
